Andrea McLean has become the first celebrity to be eliminated from BBC One’s Tumble.
The Loose Women presenter competed against Peter Duncan in tonight’s vault-off, after the pair received the lowest combined scores across weeks 1 and 2.
Despite McLean executing a better vault than Duncan, head judge Nadia Comăneci chose to retain the former Blue peter host as a contestant, bringing to an end McLean’s time on the show.
McLean, who had been the bookies favourite to exit the competition this week, said she had “loved every minute” of her Tumble experience and thanked her professional partner Alex Uttley.
“I’ve loved every minute – every sprain, every rip, every bump and scrape… I’ve had the most fabulous team. It’s been a great experience. I’ve genuinely loved it.” – McLean
Tumble continues next week at 6.30pm on BBC One.
