Following the release of The Professionals MkI back in March, The Professionals MkII will be released on DVD and Blu-ray next month.

It was one of the most successful action series ever made, crime-busting legends Bodie and Doyle have never looked as good as they do in this brand new digitally restored, High Definition release of The Professionals: MkII which will be available to own from the 29th of September 2014 on Blu-ray RRP £39.99, DVD RRP £29.99, and iTunes, from Network Distributing.
The Professionals: MkII features brand new transfers from original film elements and is presented here in a previously unseen quality. It contains all 13 episodes that comprised the second series which was produced in 1978 and 1979.
Starring Martin Shaw and Lewis Collins as Bodie and Doyle, a special agent duo in the fictional law enforcement department CI5, and Gordon Jackson as their boss George Cowley, The Professionals won the hearts of the nation in the ‘70s and ran for five series from 1977 to 1983.
Special features on the release includes an exclusive book written by archive television historian Andrew Pixley, fully detailing the history and production of series two. There is as well as the High Definition pictures, thanks to the transfers and restorations from the original negatives, also quality sound as its present as Dolby 5.1 mixes along with original as-broadcast mono and music-only tracks.
There is also a series two advert bumper, some outtakes and behind the scenes footage, an American sales trailer, extensive HD image galleries, PDF material and English HOH subtitles.
