Ricci Guarnaccio and Lauren Goodger have become the sixth and seventh celebrities to be evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house.
All of the remaining housemates faced tonight’s double boot-out, with the former Geordie Shore and TOWIE stars coming bottom in the public vote.
“It’s a bit of a shock [being out] but everyone has their time,” Lauren told Emma Willis, while Ricci added “There’s a few games going on now… when you’re true to yourself and you’ve made it this far you’d love to make it to end.”
Ricci went on to be dismissive of Audley’s presence in the house claiming that the professional boxer “just cooks then goes to bed at night”. However, Lauren defended Audley staying that he’s “very caring, very honest [and] very calm”.
Of his feeling for Lauren, Ricci said “I fell for Lauren as soon as we walked in I got on with her really well. There was a lot of flirting going on some nights, then during the day she would sort of distance herself sometimes and I didn’t know which way to take it.”
Offering her take on their relationship, Lauren revealed “I think Ricci’s a wicked guy and I’ll always be friends with him. I haven’t got a bad word to say about him but I felt a bit pressured and I think that’s what scared me off a little bit.”
Ricci interjected: “All I can say is I was real, I was honest and I was up front about everything I did” while Lauren maintained that Ricci had “changed” towards her. The pair agreed that they will remain friends outside of the house before the topic moved on to James.
Ricci described the Strictly pro as “mischievous” and insisted that he isn’t playing a game in the house, however Lauren disagreed and criticised James, stating that she had seen “another side to him” and that he was “difficult” to live with.
“He’s got some awesome stories,” Ricci said of Gary, however added “It’s just when there’s a lot of people around he becomes…. I know he’s got a hearing problem, but one minute he’s rude, next minute he’s the loveliest person in the world. You find its draining every single day over and over.”
Ricci added that he doesn’t regret his cutting remarks to Gary during the first round of face to face nominations in which he claimed that the Hollywood star isn’t a good role model to his son.
Summing up his Big Brother experience, Ricci said “I thought the environment wasn’t suited to me. You wake up in the morning and you find yourself sitting there having the same conversations with people over and over again.” However, he added that he has “loved it”.
Lauren added of her experience “I don’t regret anything. I’ve been me 100 per cent. I haven’t played any games and I’ve met some amazing people.”
Celebrity Big Brother continues tomorrow at 9.00pm on Channel 5.
