Apprentice finalist accused of ‘stealing tights idea’

The Apprentice finalist Bianca Miller has been accused of stealing the idea which she has pitched to Lord Sugar.

Miller will go head-to-head with Mark Wright in the final of The Apprentice tonight. The Sunday Mirror claims that Miller’s idea of skin-tone tights was stolen when she met aspiring businesswoman Ella Bennett.

Ella told the Sunday newspaper: “I am devastated. I feel cheated out of my dreams. After putting in so much hard work and effort it feels like I’ve basically been mugged.”

She went on to say that Lord Sugar should ‘fire’ Bianca tonight. Bianca and Mark take part in one final task, which will see previous fired contestants back to help. The winner will get a £250,000 investment in their business idea, which will be owned evenly between them and Lord Sugar.

Bianca has hit back at the claims with her spokesperson telling the newspaper: “Bianca came up with the idea in 2010 and has been developing it since then. She knows she is not the first, and nor will she be the last to come up with this idea – but she views any other brands providing a similar product as healthy competition.

The final of The Apprentice, which is also the last time Lord Sugar’s assistant Nick Hewer will be appearing, airs tonight at 9.00pm on BBC One.
