Channel 4 has commissioned a second series of Amazing Spaces Shed of the Year from Plum Pictures.
Accompanied by his Amazing Spaces team, George Clarke will travel the length and breadth of the British Isles, visiting the extraordinary sheds vying to be crowned Shed of the Year 2015.
This year, the series is bigger with four episodes and two new categories, which will sit alongside the existing hotly contested groups: Best Eco Shed, Tardis Shed and Best Pub Shed. With the competition even fiercer, there’ll be plenty for the panel of judges to decide the ultimate winner in the grand final.
“Building on last year’s exciting competition, viewers will be amazed by the genius of the nation’s sheddies and their surprising and spectacular creations. packed with inspired design features for a mind-blowing range of eccentric uses. All of the contenders are set to be truly amazing spaces in which to live, work or play.” – Channel 4
In 2014 Joel Bird’s stunning Allotment Roof Shed took the top prize despite stiff competition from the mobile Disco Shed, the astounding structure built from 5000 wine bottles and the giant two-storey teapot shed. Once again the ultimate winner’s going to have to impress not just the judges – but the voting public who will be able to vote for category winners from right across the nation.
Amazing Spaces Shed of the Year 2015 will air in summer 2015.
