Jules and matisseJules O’Dwyer and Matisse are the winners of Britain’s Got Talent 2015.

The dog act gave a show-stealing performance in tonight’s live final, which saw policewoman Jules pursue Matisse who had stolen a string of sausages.

Their routine drew to a heart-warming close when the pooch – having evaded capture – delivered the sausages to a homeless three-legged dog.

Jules and Matisse take home a £250,000 prize, and will feature at this year’s Royal Variety Performance.

“I really want to thank everybody who’s voted for him, and us, and my whole crew and my wonderful dogs. Amazing!” – O’Dwyer

The judges lavished praise on Jules and Matisse with David Walliams noting that the performance had turned him into “a dog person”, while Amanda Holden said “I’m crying my eyes out. I thought we had seen the best but you knocked it out the park. Gorgeous.”

In second place was magic act Jamie Raven, while Welsh choir Cor Glanaethwy completed the top three.
