The Queen of Mean will put the nation’s spending habits under the microscope in a new BBC One series.
Self-confessed shopaholic Anne Robinson is to front a two part series exploring the spending habits of the British people. The Watchdog studio will travel across the UK where she will meet a variety of people and investigate how we spend our money. As she encounters individuals from different social and economic backgrounds, Anne will explore whether money does make us happy.
“My attitude to money is embarrassingly, bottom-clenchingly un-British.” – Robinson
Robinson added that the show will reveal just how judgemental we are as a nation about other people’s spending habits but are secretive when it comes to our own.
Britain’s Secret Spending Habits is due to air on BBC One this summer.
