Simon Cowell is hoping to sign Rita Ora for the new series the X Factor.
The Mirror reports that X Factor bosses are hoping to lure the singer away from BBC rival The Voice UK. The tabloid reports that Ora has been offered a massive £1.5 million deal to sit alongside Cowell on the new series, with auditions for the new series soon to get underway.
The report claims that Ora has been tempted several times and is seriously considering the offer after Radio 1 DJ and friend Nick Grimshaw apparently signed to join as a judge. Simon Cowell is the only confirmed judge so far for the new series. The full line-up is expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
Olly Murs and Caroline Flack will co-host the X Factor which it returns to ITV in August. They replace Dermot O’Leary who was axed as bosses look to revamp the show following a fall in ratings. Long time judge Louis Walsh is said to have also been axed although no official confirmation has been made.
