Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace – the third place contestant on the seventh series of Big Brother in 2006 – has become the latest ex-housemate to return to the house in a Time Warp twist.
Bosses had planned to introduce the 36 year old to the current civilian series on Friday (19 June), with sources claiming at the time that a potential showdown between Aisleyne and arch-rival Helen Wood had inspired the move. However, Aisleyne’s return didn’t go ahead with reports noting that it had been delayed by producers.
“I feel the House is surrounded with a lot of negativity and there is a dark cloud over the House. I want to go in and bring positivity and fun. I feel like it’s my House and I want to bring it back to life.” – Aisleyne
Aisleyne finally entered the compound yesterday (24 June) – making a grand entrance by jumping out of a giant present in the garden wearing a Mrs Claus outfit. She proceeded to hand out either luxury shopping or basic ration gifts to the housemates based on whether they had – in her opinion – been good or bad.
As seen in a clip on the show’s official website, Aisleyne gives basic rations to Marc O’Neill for contributing towards Brian Belo’s exit from the house and Simon Gross for slating her behind her back after being influenced by “spawn of Satan” Helen.
Helen was also handed basic rations with Aisleyne noting of her decision “Basic rations for a basic bitch.” Meanwhile, Chloe Wilburn, Jack McDermott, Danny Wisker and Harry Amelia all received luxury packages.
“I won’t be approaching Helen as she intimidates me but if I see her targeting someone else I definitely won’t hold back and I will be telling her to know herself.” – Aisleyne
Aisleyne follows in the footsteps of Helen, Brian and Nikki Grahame who entered the house on Day 32 (12 June) for ‘Time Warp week’ with their stay later being extended by producers. However, Belo escaped from the house on Tuesday (23 June) following a series of clashes with Wood.
Aisleyne’s return to the house will be aired on tonight’s highlights programme at 10.00pm on Channel 5.
