Broadcasters are uniting their on-screen talent on behalf of InterMedia to bring a touch of showbiz glitz and glamour to the Pride in London Parade.

Some of TV’s biggest stars are to come together from shows such as Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Holby City, This Morning and The Only Way Is Essex to celebrate on the InterMedia Float. On Saturday 27th June 2015, British broadcasters including the BBC, ITV, Viacom Networks (Channel 5, MTV), Sky, Discovery, Time Warner, Remedy Productions and Creative Skillset join forces to raise awareness of LGBT networking in the media industry and to deliver a fabulous mix of fun, frolics and famous faces to thrill the crowds.

Those on the streets during Pride in London Parade should expect to be entertained by a host of personalities from the small screen as stars engage with the public as well as a float featuring a selection of ground breaking LGBT content from TV series past and present on multiple screens.

“InterMedia would like to thank the broadcast industry for its dedication to diversity and will be celebrating with employees from each partners’ LGBT employee groups at the Pride in London Parade. We look forward to seeing a continued reflection of the LGBT population on screen in the future.” – Justine Roberts, Steering Group Member at InterMedia

InterMedia is an LGBT network group for people working in the media and members come from film, TV, publishing, computer games, radio, advertising, marketing communications, and visual effects. InterMedia was founded by Creative Skillset and Stonewall.
