Fresh from the SonarDôme at Barcelona’s Sonar, the world-travelling Red Bull Music Academy this week announced who will touch down in Paris and make up the Class of 2015.
Earlier this week the Red Bull Music Academy unveiled the participants of the Paris Academy via Twitter and Instagram. This year, Red Bull Music Academy is to welcome 61 artists from 37 different countries. For two weeks, these artists from all corners of the globe will be invited to the Academy quarters at Paris’ La Gaîté lyrique to take part in workshops, lectures and studio sessions with some of the best in their field, and also perform at a few of the French capital’s most esteemed venues.
Some of those to feature this year include Hyroglifics from the UK – heralded as one of the 10 Drum & Bass producers to watch in 2015, Hyroglifics has already dropped several blistering sets on Rinse FM in 2014 and continues to release punishing and progressive drum & bass via Critical Music. Also announced, are Sapphire Slows (Japan), OK Lou (France), Toxe (Sweden), Lontalius (New Zealand), FRKTL (Egypt) and Pan Daijing (China).
