Ahead of the forthcoming Coronation Street live episode, to mark ITV’s 60th anniversary later this month, Loose Women are to air live from the nation’s best loved street.
On Friday 11th September the daily debate show will dedicate its entire programme to Corrie and will broadcast live from the current fictional home of Weatherfield at the ITV Granada studios at MediaCity in Salford as well as from the former studios on Quay Street in Manchester, currently home to the popular Corrie Tour.
A different female cast member from the serial will join the Loose Women panel for each part of the programme and a host of Corrie guests will be speaking to the women throughout the show. There will be a live studio audience in the famous Rover’s Return at the Coronation Street Tour with Andrea McLean, Jane Moore and Jamelia presenting there whilst Nadia Sawalha will act as a roving reporter from the new Coronation Street set in Media City.
The show, which airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV, will also feature in the Corrie special an ‘access all areas’ pass, Nadia will be delving behind-the-scenes to reveal a few Corrie secrets too. Beverley Callard, who plays Liz MacDonald on the soap is looking forward to the special.

It’s not the first time ITV Daytime has broadcast live from Coronation Street’s set, This Morning has previously presented full editions from the Quay Street Granada Studios.
