ITV Hub also use for ITV2 ITV3 and ITV4

Stateside chat show The Ellen DeGeneres Show is to air on ITV2.

Brand new episodes of the series will begin airing on the channel from Monday 18th January. Hosted by comedian/actress Ellen DeGeneres the daily talk show features a combination of comedy, celebrity and music guests alongside topical human-interest stories.  To date, the show has won 55 Daytime Emmys including nine for Outstanding Daytime Talk Show.

Transmitting every weekday at 1.35pm, the channel will air the latest episodes of the current series (in line with US air dates).  Highlights from the most recent series which has seen a host of Hollywood A listers pop by include the cast of Star Wars talking about their latest worldwide movie sensation, Presidential Candidate, Hillary Clinton and popular returning guest Justin Bieber revealing all to Ellen.

“After what feels like decades of campaigning I’m so excited that my show is on ITV2. I can literally feel my crumpets tingling down in my cockles,” – talk show host Ellen DeGeneres.

The talk show previously aired on Comedy Central, however was many series behind the American output, before being dropped from the schedules. The Ellen DeGeneres Show premiered on US television back in September 2003 and was the highest-rated freshman syndicated show of the 2003-2004 season.
