Brian Friedman has become the second celebrity to leave I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!. The American dancer and choreographer left the jungle in tonight’s episode of the ITV reality series after losing out in the latest public vote.
“It feels amazing to be out of there. I felt that I was going,” Brian told Ant & Dec. “It was what I expected and more. I thought it would be easier and that I would have a protein bar thrown at me every once in a while. It was all a huge challenge and I’m surprised I got through it.” He went on to reveal that he had enjoyed his role as chef in the camp as it helped to ‘pass the time’ and gave him something to focus on.
“Once Ferne spent the night next to me there she got up the next morning and said ‘I get it’. [It was] the lumpy uneven ground and you get constantly bit up [by bugs] when you’re there. It’s really miserable.” – Brian on his time in Snake Rock and Ferne’s decision to send him there
On the numerous arguments involving Lady C, he said: “I think people are afraid of her. Once I got the lashing of her tongue, I was afraid of her too. Then I stepped back. [Tony and Duncan] are not her favourites but yesterday the storm brought us together. Knowing that her opinion can’t be changed on anything leaves me in a great place with her. I’ll keep my thoughts to myself and I’ll be safe.”
“We were going through the same emotions at the same time and we had a similar experience,” Brian noted of his friendship with George and Jorgie. He added that he would like George to win the show.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tomorrow at 8.30pm on ITV
