Good Morning Britain failed to make it on air this morning (25 March) after a fire broke out at ITV Studios.
The ITV Studios on London’s South Bank were evacuated just before the programme’s 7.00am transmission slot, after a fire broke out in the post room. The presenters took to Twitter to keep viewers updated on what was happening while a pre-recorded programme played out instead.

Good Morning Britain presenter Ben Shephard said that five fire engines were at the scene to deal with the incident. A few hours later the show tweeted to say that the incident was now over and that all staff were safely back inside.
