Former pop star and Coronation Street actor Adam Rickitt has joined Made Television to host a series looking at the world of showbiz.

Rickitt will front ‘Celebz’, launching across the Made Television network from Friday 17th June, Adam will be sharing all the latest showbiz news and trends, plus inviting some of his celeb friends to take part in hilarious challenges. Adam will be joined each week by co-host, 24 year old, West Country model and actor, Chelsea Skipp. ‘Celebz’ will broadcast at 10pm every Friday across the Made Television Network in Bristol, Cardiff, Leeds and Tyne & Wear.
Adam rose to stardom playing Nick Tilsley in the Granada soap opera Coronation Street from 1997 to 1999 and again from 2002 to 2004. He also spent three years in New Zealand working on Grundy soap opera Shortland Street as Kieran Mitchell. Other successes include on stage as Mark Cohen in the musical Rent and in film with Emergency Exit as ‘Idol’, a pick of the Cannes Film Festival.
In 2014, he became part of the super group 5th Story on ITV’s The Big Reunion and most recently Adam graced the screen yet again playing Logan Flynn in BBC One daytime saga, Doctors.
