Sky News has announced Sarah-Jane Mee as the new presenter of their flagship show ‘Sunrise’.

Sarah-Jane is replacing longtime host Eamonn Holmes who is departing the breakfast news programme after 11 years. The changes will also mark the debut of Sky’s new glass set in the heart of Sky Central.
Her co-host will be current Sky News correspondent and presenter Jonathan Samuels who replaces Isabel Webster who is moving to weekend Sunrise.
Sarah-Jane said that taking over from Eamonn Holmes is a “real honour” and that she is looking forward to the challenge.

Eamonn Holmes, outgoing anchor of Sky News Sunrise. Holmes will continue to host ITV’s This Morning on Fridays.
Eamonn Holmes revealed earlier this month that he was leaving Sky News to take up new projects. He joined Sky News in 2005 as the presenter of Sunrise alongside Lorna Dunkley. Prior to Sky News, Eamonn was the face of GMTV from 1993 until his departure in the spring of 2005.
