This Friday Loose Women welcome men back onto the panel for another special edition.

“Only a few very special men have what it takes to be on the Loose Women panel, but Ed Balls and Judge Rinder have proven they are more than up to the challenge. Fun, feisty and not afraid to speak their minds, they survived the Strictly judges, but will they survive their fellow Loose Women panellists? Expect some fiery debates, a few surprises, and lots of laughs.” – Loose Women Editor, Sally Shelford

Recent star of Strictly Come Dancing and politician Ed Balls, and ITV’s resident Judge Robert Rinder will be joining regular Loose Women Andrea McLean and Nadia Sawalha on the panel to debate the hot topics of the day and share their personal stories.

“I had a great time with the lovely Loose Women when I was on as a guest – showing them a few dance moves! So I can only imagine what mischief we will get up to with a whole hour on the panel. I can’t wait.” – Ed Balls

In 2006 ITV attempted a ‘mixed’ panel version of the show with Loose @5.30, however this late afternoon spin-off failed to draw in the viewers like its daytime originator. The ‘Loose Women & Men’ special is on Friday 6th January at 12.30pm on ITV. Last year the long running programme saw specials, Loose Women & Kids and two installments of Loose Women & Men.

“I am very much looking forward to being on the panel. You can expect me to be thoroughly forthright, so much so, I’ll make Janet Street-Porter seem like Pollyanna!” – Robert Rinder

Earlier this week the show launched a brand new feature called ‘Loose Women Undercover‘ where the women will investigate issues affecting viewers. For the first installment, Loose Women’s Nadia Sawalha and Linda Robson spent a day with a ‘paedophile hunter’ from group ‘Internet Interceptors’ to discover how quickly a child could fall victim to a paedophile online. The investigation comes at a time when viewers may have bought their children electronic devices for Christmas and are possibly unaware of the online safety settings available.
