Broadcaster Fearne Cotton has been lined up to present ITV’s Lorraine while Lorraine Kelly continues her extended break.
“It’s going to be such a fun week, I’m really looking forward to hosting the show while Lorraine enjoys her trip of her lifetime.” – Fern Cotton
The Top of the Pops host, and Celebrity Juice team captain, will front the programme while Lorraine enjoys a special trip to the Antarctic following in the footsteps of her hero, Sir Ernest Shackleton.
It will be the first time that Fearne has presented the ITV daytime show. Alongside her TV and radio work, Fearne is also a published author; her most recent book is called ‘Happy‘ and is already a bestseller.
Alongside all the overnight showbiz news from Ross King in LA, Dr Hilary’s advice on the latest health stories, Mark Heyes’ best fashion buys from the high street, there will also be compelling human interest stories and interviews with special guests including Tom Daly, Emma Watson and an ITV Daytime exclusive interview with Steps.
“I’m delighted that Fearne, such a popular and versatile broadcaster, is presenting the show for a week. Fearne thrives on live, and her natural empathy, spontaneity, not forgetting her sense of fun will all shine through in what will be a special week of shows.” – Lorraine Editor, Sue Walton
Fearne will present ITV’s Lorraine for a week from Monday 13th March, weekdays 8.30am – 9.25am
