Undercover Festival V Line Up Stronger Than Ever Before say festival organisers.
“This year’s festival has a line-up that is packed with bands that should appeal to most that like their music alternative. Undercover is an X Factor Free zone and there is no place for that schmaltzy pulp on our stages” – Festival Organiser Mick Moriarty.
The event, held this year at Dreamland Margate in September, sees a two day celebration of alternative music including Punk, Ska, Dub, Reggae, Alt and much more. The Undercover Festival is now in its fifth year are moving to the unique and quirky setting of Dreamland Margate in Kent.
Undercover; a festival venue and experience that defies all other conventions and festival templates organisers note, not only do they have a cracking line up for 2017 but festival goers can experience many retro rides and amusements plus it is once again held indoors so should the great British weather let us down, it won’t matter, and certainly won’t spoil the gigs.
Your beer won’t get diluted. Leave your wellies at home, and enjoy one of the best small alternative festivals the South has to offer this September. – Undercover Festival
This year organisers have also announced a free After Show Party on Sunday 10th Sept at The Dug Out, Fort Hill Margate. Further details on this joyous addtion can be found on the festival’s facebook page.
The festival is one that prides itself on taking an independent and grassroots approach to things, and is always determined to be different from mainstream events, with two days of alternative action from bands you’d be highly unlikely to see on many other festival line-ups. In a financial climate where it always seems to be about the money, Undercover throws convention to the wind and just goes with what it believes in. There is a huge line up and tickets can be bought in advance online of from various locations details from www.undercoverfest.com where music lovers can also find out who is performing at the 2017 gigs.
“Preparations are going well and ticket sales are up on last year so out advice is get in quick to get your tickets because when they are sold out that’s it, we have more shops selling tickets this year plus you can get your tickets by post or online from Dreamland or the Undercover website.” – Festival Organiser Mick Moriarty.
