ABC has handed full season orders to dramas Brothers & Sisters and Detroit 1-8-7 and comedies Better With You and No Ordinary Family but has cancelled its low-rated legal drama The Whole Truth.

 

ABC has handed full season orders to dramas Brothers & Sisters and Detroit 1-8-7 and comedies Better With You and No Ordinary Family but has cancelled its low-rated legal drama The Whole Truth. The broadcaster had previously stated it would give The Whole Truth more time to prove itself in terms of ratings but has pulled the plug. ABC originally ordered 18 episodes of returning drama Brothers & Sisters and has now handed the series four more episodes giving a grand total of 22 for its latest series. Police drama Detroit 1-8-7, starring Michael Imperioli and James McDaniel had originally been commissioned for 13 episodes; ABC has now ordered an additional 5 bringing its total up to 18.

Comedies Better With You and No Ordinary Family have also been handed full season orders by the broadcaster. No Ordinary Family stars Julie Benz and Michael Chiklis and has been given a further 9 episodes which brings the total for its season to 22. Better With You, starring JoAnna Garcia and Jennifer Finnigan, has also been given 9 further episodes bringing its total to 22 as well.
