American actress Charlene Tilton has revealed her exit from Dancing on Ice came just in time.
The actress was voted out of the ITV series on Sunday evening and for Tilton it couldn’t have come sooner. The Dallas actress has revealed she has injured her shoulder and has been in agony but now, with her exit from Dancing on Ice, she will have the chance to recover.
“The timing is perfect. I don’t think it would have lasted another week….I can’t even carry my purse or open a door, it hurts so much. It needs a chance to heal without surgery. At the end of the day, staying in another week, is it worth going on an operating table for?..I wanted to stop every day” – Charlene Tilton quoted by The Mirror
Despite the agony though Tilton admitted she had still enjoyed her stint on Dancing on Ice saying ‘It’s been such a blessing for me, mentally, physically. I’ve met the most wonderful people’. Tilton isn’t the only celebrity to have suffered from an injury during the current series; 1980s pop singer Chesney Hawkes was forced to pull out before the series launched because of an injury while Laila Morse, Jennifer Ellison and Heidi Range also sustained injuries while training.
