The EastEnders star saw off competition from Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts to become Queen Of The Jungle, after David Haye finished third in yesterday’s episode.
After Ant & Dec announced the result, Brooks took her seat on the jungle throne and was handed her crown by Get Me Out Of Here Now! hosts Laura Whitmore and Joe Swash.
Speaking about her win, Brooks said: “I never imagined this for a million years. Everyone’s been amazing.”
Before finding out the result, Brooks had an emotional reunion with daughter Kiki in the I’m A Celebrity studio, while earlier in the show the two finalists participated in Bushtucker trial ‘Final Feast’ which saw them tackle an assortment of unusual delicacies including witchety grubs and raw fish eyes in order to win a Mexican-themed meal for their final night in camp.
The actress, who survived a total of 21 days in the jungle, inherits the crown from last year’s winner McFly’s Dougie Poynter.
