Darcey Bussell is to join Strictly Come Dancing as a judge.

The Sun newspaper reported this morning that Bussell had agreed a £100,000 deal to appear on the new series later this year.

“Darcey is a living legend as far as dancing is concerned – and she is just perfect for Strictly.” – A source told The Sun

BBC confirmed on Twitter this morning that Bussell will be joining the dancing show. She will join head judge Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli. Alesha Dixon quit last year to join ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent.
