Glee returned last night to Fox, after a week off, with a rise in ratings with its total viewers for the episode being the best since the season three premier.
Glee had a strong outing on Fox last night after a week’s break though admittedly it has yet to reach the heights it once occupied. Glee had 9 million viewers last night with a 3.6 18-49 rating. Elsewhere at 8pm a repeat of NCIS still commanded a hefty 12.9 million viewers and a 2.0 rating for CBS. Teen drama 90210 pulled in 1.4 viewers overall with a 0.7 18-49 rating for The CW. The Biggest Loser on NBC was seen by 6 million viewers with a 2.1 rating while Last Man Standing on ABC had 5.6 million and a 1.5 rating at 8.30 and 5.7 million viewers and a 1.7 rating at 8.30.
At 9pm new Fox comedy New Girl continued to perform well with 7.2 million viewers with a 3.5 18-49 rating followed by Raising Hope with 4.6 million viewers and a 2.1 rating. A repeat of NCIS: Los Angeles had 11 million viewers and a 1.7 rating for CBS while Celebrity Wife Swap on ABC had 5.5 million viewers and a 1.9 rating. Ringer on The CW had a poorish outing with 1.3 million viewers overall and a 0.6 18-49 rating.
