How I Met Your Mother ratings rise

CBS comedies How I Met Your Mother, 2 Broke Girls and Mike & Molly all saw their ratings rise on Monday evening though Two and a Half Men saw a drop on its last original episode to air.

8pm. The Voice dropped to a new season low for NBC but still managed to win the 8pm hour in the 18-49 demo with a 3.3 rating and 9.2 million viewers overall. CBS comedy How I Met Your Mother saw its 18-49 rating rise to 3.2 with 7.8 million viewers overall followed by 2 Broke Girls which also saw a rise in ratings with 9.1 million viewers and a 3.5 18-49 rating – topping the latter half of the hour. Dancing with the Stars on ABC won the hour in terms of total viewers with 15 million viewers but had an 18-49 rating of 2.5 representing a new series low. On Fox Bones pulled in 7 million viewers with a 1.9 rating while Gossip Girl on The CW had 1 million viewers with a 0.6 rating.

At 9pm Two and a Half Men saw a drop in ratings from its last original episode but won the hour never-the-less with its 18-49 rating over 3.7 with an 11.2 million viewers overall. The comedy was followed on CBS by Mike & Molly which saw its ratings rise to 10 million viewers with a 3.2 18-49 rating. The Voice continued on NBC across the 9pm hour with 9.5 million viewers and a 3.6 rating. Dancing with the Stars also continued across the hour with 16.6 million viewers and a 2.8 rating. Medical drama House on Fox pulled in 6.5 million viewers with a 2.1 rating while Hart of Dixie on The CW had 1.3 million viewers with a 0.6 rating.

At 10pm Hawaii Five-0 attracted 10.7 million viewers with a 2.5 rating, down on its last original episode, while ABC’s Castle had 11.3 million viewers but mustered a 2.4 18-49 rating. NBC’s Smash dropped down the ratings chart further with 5.4 million viewers and a 1.8 18-49 rating.
