Jim Davidson arrested by officers from Operation Yewtree

Jim Davidson, Hell's KitchenComedian Jim Davidson has been arrested by officers investigating allegations of sexual offences.

Officers from Operation Yewtree arrested him today along with another man whose identity has not been revealed. The Met Police operation was set up following the Jimmy Savile scandal last year.

Jim Davidson’s solicitor Henri Brandman said that the controversial comedian denied the claims which have been made by ‘two women’.  Davidson was later bailed by police.

It had been widely reported that he was due to take part in Celebrity Big Brother. A new series gets under way tomorrow evening on Channel 5.

He was due to be reunited with the host of Big Brother, Brian Dowling, who he made homophobic comments to while appearing on ITV’s Hell’s Kitchen in 2007.

  1. JIM DAVIDSON was never any good he was on TISWAS and was useless, he hosted the BBCs GENERATION GAME and it was axed because of him. He will never be anything like the other two hosts of the GEN GAME as BRUCE FORSYTH and LARRY GRAYSON are both ATV legends and we are proud of them. JIM is like saville he will be finished and face oblivian like MICHAEL BARRYMORE did i think hes like so many former stars finished.

  2. JIM DAVIDSON made famous by ATVs NEW FACES in the 1970s then he went on ATVs TISWAS and was absolutely terrible then he hosted the BBCs generation game he was a disaster and it was axed.
