Josh Schwartz, creator and producer of NBC’s comedy spy drama Chuck, has said fans will have to ‘rally once again’ if they want to see a fifth season. Schwartz was walking to TVLine about upcoming episodes of Chuck when the possibility of a fifth season was raised. Ratings for Chuck have never been high and to some the series has always been a high contender for cancellation – having dodged it so far but will it managed to do so again?
It’s a nail-biter. Chuck fans are going to have to dig down deep and rally once again. – Josh Schwartz on TVLine.
Talking about the fourth season finale the producer confirmed he could serve as a series finale if NBC do not re-commission the series.
Luckily this is a path we’ve been down before. We will leave nothing behind, but the door will still be left open for the future. – – Josh Schwartz on TVLine.
While Chuck fans wait to see if they’ll need to rally to save their show another troubled NBC drama has just been dealt a blow. The Cape, of which there was much hype surrounding, has had its episode order reduced by three which is not a good sign and is a highly probably indication it will be cancelled.
