Dancing on IceLouie Spence has confirmed that he will not be a judge on the next series of Dancing On Ice.

The choreographer told his followers on Twitter that he will be replaced by Jason Gardiner when the show returns next year.

Spence said: “To all asking no I won’t be judging @Dancingonice this year Jason is back …”

“Can’t wait to watch @officialJasonG on @dancingonice he will spice up the ice, go guuurrrrrlllll lol”

Gardiner was previously a judge on the show from 2006 until 2011.  He will join Robin Cousins on the panel, while The Sun reports that a new female judge will replace Katarina Witt, who is also leaving the show.

Despite a dip in ratings, as the show clashed with hit new BBC drama Call The Midwife,  Dancing On Ice is expected to return for its eighth series in January.
