NCIS Season Finale Tops Tuesdays Ratings

The season finales of NCIS and spin-off NCIS: Los Angeles dominated Tuesday evening’s ratings for CBS.

8pm: As ever detective drama NCIS dominated the hour winning both total and 18-49 viewers with a hefty 18.7 million viewers with a 3.5 18-49 rating. NBC‘s America’s Got Talent wasn’t far behind with its 3.4 18-49 rating but lagged considerably behind in terms of total viewers with 10.4 million. On Fox Glee continued with 6 million viewers and a 2.4 rating while ABC comedy Cougar Town, soon moving to TBS, pulled in 3.3 million viewers with a 1.0 rating. The season finale of 90210 on The CW had 1 million viewers with a 0.5 rating.

At 9pm NCIS: Los Angeles also reached its season finale pulling in 15 million viewers with a 3.0 rating. Dancing with the Stars results show on ABC pulled in 12.9 million viewers with a 2.2 18-49 rating. A second episode of Glee on Fox was seen by 6 million viewers with a 2.5 rating. On The CW Canadian drama The L.A Complex limped on with 570,000 viewers and a poor 0.2 18-49 rating.

Shonda Rhimes drama Private Practice reached its fifth season finale at 10pm with 7 million viewers and a 1.8 rating. It’s still unclear whether the sixth season of the Grey’s Anatomy will be a final season or not.
