Comedian Miranda Hart has revealed her BBC sitcom won’t be begin filming until next year.
The actress appears in the hugely successful BBC Two comedy Miranda which has seen its ratings top 4 million viewers. The BBC has ordered a third series and it’s being promoted to BBC One following its success. However, fans hoping to see the new series any time soon will be disappointed to learn filming isn’t expected to begin anytime soon,

Miranda is one of several comedies recently re-commissioned by the BBC for new seasons. Fellow BBC Two shows Rev, Episodes and Grandma’s House have all reportedly been given new seasons while BBC One’s late-night comedy Mrs Brown’s Boys has also been renewed. However, the corporation has cancelled long-running comedy My Family after 11 seasons.
