Dallas-2012Former Six Million Dollar actor Lee Majors is to guest star in TNT‘s revived Dallas.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Majors will guest star in two episodes of the oil and scandal drama. Majors will play Ken Richards; a former flame of Sue Ellen’s (Linda Gray) who crosses path with her on business matters.

Lee Majors is perhaps best known for his role of Colonel Steve Austin in the 1970s sci-fi/action series The Six Million Dollar Man. The drama ran for five seasons on ABC between 1974 and 1978 and spawned spin-off series The Bionic Woman which starred Lindsay Wagner. The spin-off ran for three seasons between 1976 and 1978; transferring from ABC to NBC for its third and final season. In 2007 The Bionic Woman was unsuccessfully remade by NBC with British actress Michelle Ryan in the title role.

In more recent years Majors has appeared in shows such as Weeds, Cold Case, Community, Grey’s Anatomy, Raising Hope, Will and Grace and Jake 2.0. In the 1970s he was married to Charlie’s Angels actress Farrah Fawcett.

The second season of Dallas kicked off on TNT on Monday evening with nearly 3 million viewers; down considerably on last year’s launch. However, that figure is expected to rise when DVR figures are released.
