Following the recent casting news that Anna Maxwell Martin will play Elizabeth, Matthew Rhys will star as Darcy and Wickham will be portrayed by Matthew Goode, BBC Drama have confirmed the full casting line-up for Death Comes To Pemberley.

The drama is adapted from PD James’ internationally bestselling novel and the beeb believe that the production will be a ‘remarkably inventive homage to Austen’. The corporation aim to bring her much-loved world to life in an original and suspenseful way.
Populist castings include Jenna Coleman of Doctor Who as Lydia Wickham; Trevor Eve from Waking The Dead as Sir Selwyn Hardcastle; Rebecca Front and Joanna Scanlan of The Thick Of It fame as Mrs Bennett and Mrs Reynolds.
There is also a return to screens for legendary actress Penelope Keith as Lady Catherine de Bourgh (pictured) and Vicar Of Dibley’s James Fleet as Mr Bennett.
Other cast include Tom Ward as Colonel Fitzwilliam; Eleanor Tomlinson as Georgiana Darcy; and James Norton as Mr Alveston.
Filming will begin this month on location in Yorkshire and has been supported with investment from Screen Yorkshire.
