A British cameraman working for Sky News has been killed while covering the unrest in Egypt.
Mick Deane was working for the British satellite news service alongside colleague Sam Kiley when the cameraman was shot and wounded. Middle East correspondent Kiley is believed to have not been injured.
Everyone at Sky News is shocked and saddened by Mick’s death. He was a talented and experienced journalist who had worked with Sky News for many years.

61-year-old Deane, married with two sons, was given treatment for his injuries however medics were unable to save him. He had worked for Sky News for fifteen years based in Washington and more recently Jerusalem.
