Tomorrow PeopleFormer Downton Abbey actor Dan Stevens is to lend his voice to The CW’s remake of The Tomorrow People.

Entertainment Weekly report that the actor will lend his voice to the show’s biological computer TIM in the forthcoming remake; in the original British series the computer was voiced by actor Philip Gilbert.

The 21st century remake of The Tomorrow People stars Robbie Amell & Luke Mitchell and is being helmed by Greg Berlanti and Julie Plec. The original series ran on ITV, in Britain, between 1973 and 1979 and was revived in 1992 until 1995.

Dan Stevens played Matthew Crawley in Downton Abbey until his departure in the Christmas Special when his character was killed off a move that shocked many fans of the period drama.
