Fans are invited to an evening with comedian and ITV’s Splash judge Jo Brand in support of Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.
The night takes place at the Criterion theatre later this month which sees an exclusive evening with the BAFTA-winning English comedian, writer and actress discussing her life and career.
Hosted by Alan Yentob, BBC Creative Director – better known as ‘the guy who axed Eldorado‘ – Jo will field questions on her life and range of prodigious talents. She was a psychiatric nurse for 10 years, making the transition to becoming a TV star and being voted one of the 50 funniest acts in British Comedy.
The author of a number of successful books, she learned to play the organ in front of 8,000 people at the Royal Albert Hall in just four months, and as a huge fan, has featured on Channel 4’s words and numbers game show Countdown numerous times, appearing in their dictionary corner.
An Audience With Jo Brand takes place on Sunday, 24th of November 2013 from 7:30 pm at the Criterion Theatre, 224 Piccadilly London, W1J 9HP. Tickets are available via ticketmaster, priced from just £20, with pre-event Champagne reception tickets £100. All proceeds in support of Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.
