Following the success of the Benefits debate on Channel 5 earlier this week, the broadcaster is now turning its attention to Immigration.
In The Big British Immigration Row: Live the channel will air a two hour live debate with MPs, decision-makers, opinion-formers and immigrants themselves all who will discuss a subject which is dividing the nation. The studio-based debate will look at all angles of the influx of immigrants and how it’s affecting our country.
The success of The Big Benefits Row: Live shows how much people want to talk about these issues and hear a range of views. This is a subject that attracts enormous controversy and with The Big British Immigration Row: Live, Channel 5 is taking the lead on topics that our viewers really care about. – Channel 5 Director of Programming, Ben Frow
The latest debate show comes hot on the heels of the success of The Big Benefits Row: Live, hosted by Matthew Wright (pictured), which achieved 2.13 million viewers and an 8.65% share. The ITN Productions programme will take on a similar format.
The Big British Immigration Row: Live, airing Monday 17th February at 8pm.
