Stars from the world of Formula 1 including Bernie Ecclestone, Damon Hill and Christian Horner joined a host of celebrity fans to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s charity.
The star-studded event held at the InterContinental London Park Lane hotel tonight was also attended by Williams Deputy Team Principal, Claire Williams, CEO of Formula E, Alejandro Agag, Tamara Ecclestone, TV presenters Vanessa Feltz, Charlie Webster and TV chef James Martin. The event was hosted by BBC F1 presenter, Suzi Perry.
After a red carpet drinks and canapé reception, automotive experts and auctioneers Coys conducted the auction of the exclusive collection of signed photographs including images from Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton, Mark Webber, Fernando Alonso, Nico Rosberg and Michael Schumacher.
Four Nikon COOLPIX S9500 cameras signed by some of the sport’s greatest drivers including Kimi Räikkönen, Jacques Villeneuve, John Surtees and Alain Prost were also auctioned for the charity.
An additional 20 photographs taken by the stars of Formula 1 will also be included as part of a two-week online auction that will go live from this Monday 10th February at www.coys-zoom.co.uk.
