Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding was on ITV’s Lorraine this morning as she launched the Model Mates competition.
Speaking to Lorraine Kelly, on the female magazine series, the pair announced the Model Mates competition which asks ITV viewers to nominate themselves and their group of mates to star in a glamorous photoshoot for swimwear brand Curvy Kate.
“It’s a great way to celebrate a friendship! …be happy, be confident and embrace your womanhood!” – Sarah Harding
Model Mates launched today, Monday 24th March and will feature as part of ITV’s Lorraine Kelly series, Lorraine, from 8.30-9.25am over the next two weeks. Viewers will be able to vote for their winning mates from 29th April.
While on the show Sarah also revealed her thoughts on what a good friend is and spoke about her Girls Aloud “sisters”;
“I think what makes a best friend is largely loyalty and longevity and just being genuine and being there for one another through thick and thin, no matter what.”
And on her bandmates Nadine Coyle, Kimberley Walsh, Cheryl Cole and Nicola Roberts, Sarah talked about their family bond and how they all care for each other now;
“We spent eleven years together so it’s almost like we’re sisters in a way. We might not always see each other but we’re always there to support one another in spirit or not.”
