Ratings for BBC One’s new forensic crime drama The Body Farm held steady last night as the series starring Keith Allen and Tara FitzGerald once again beat celebrity endurance series 71 Degrees North.
The Waking the Dead spin-off series had 4.7 million viewers at 9pm against 2.4 million viewers for 71 Degrees North on ITV1 at the same time. The Body Farm’s ratings held steady on last week’s second episode which also pulled in 4.7 million viewers.
The drama launched two weeks ago with 5.3 million viewers. Elsewhere last night the 100th episode of Shameless aired on Channel Four at 10pm with a lacklustre 1.3 million viewers but an additional 150,000 viewers watched on the time-shift channel.
