Poll Result: Britain’s Got Talent versus The Voice

For the past week ATV Today has been asking our readers which show they will be watching tonight: Britain’s Got Talent or The Voice. Well the poll is now closed so read on to find the results.

The press interest surrounding  Britain’s Got Talent and The Voice is huge with the two shows dominating tabloid articles across the last week. Though the two shows will now only clash for twenty minutes the rivalry between the two shows is certainly being built up by the press. Rest assured the press will be paying close attention to overnight ratings figures to see which show wins tonight even though final figures may very well paint a different story entirely.

So which show did our readers vote as the one they’ll be tuning into tonight? Well it was the new contender on the block, The Voice, with 49.4% of the vote. The BBC certainly have high hopes for The Voice and hope its judges line up of Will.i.am, Tom Jones, Jessie J and Danny O’Donoghue will entice viewers.

However, it only won by a narrow margin because 40.4% of our readers said they didn’t intend to watch either show! Perhaps they knew the weather would be fine tonight and so were planning to spend it out doors rather than glued to their television screens, and how can blame them? Only 10.3% of our readers voted for Britain’s Got Talent.
