Piers Morgan arrived on CNN to ratings triumph with over 2.1 million viewers tuning in for Morgan’s debut in which he interviewed chat-show queen Oprah Winfrey. However, over subsequent nights the ratings began to fall and now over two weeks later Morgan has lost 75% of his charting audience.
According to reports from America Piers Morgan Tonight dropped to under 500,000 viewers for Thursday’s edition. The edition saw Morgan interview reality television stars Kim and Kourtney Kardashian in a poorly received edition. The low rating meant he was behind rival hosts Sean Hannity and Rachel Maddow and a documentary on CNBC about a Supermarket!
