Stephen Fry, Grayson Perry, Emilia Fox, Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan are just some of the celebrities who are to feature at this year’s South Bank Sky Arts Awards hosted by Melvyn Bragg.
Sky Arts have announced the A-list names who are to give out gongs at the forthcoming event. Kristin Scott Thomas, Jo Brand, Victoria Wood, Grayson Perry, Tim Minchin and Dame Margaret Drabble are just some of the names that have been confirmed as presenters of the South Bank Show Awards 2013.
Single-play series Playhouse Presents is to return to Sky Arts and will feature the directorial debuts of Doctor Who actor Matt Smith and Luther actor Idris Elba. The new series of one-off plays feature appearances from David Harewood, Vanessa Redgrave and Kylie Minogue.
Channel 4 has signed one of Britain’s leading artists, Grayson Perry, in a two year exclusive deal while chef Jamie Oliver returns to the network with a new daytime series.
