SoapWorld takes a look at the latest goings on in Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.

SoapWeek: Corrie

Phelan visits Seb in hospital and drips poison in his ear, telling him that Anna pushed him off the ladder in an attempt to kill him. Meanwhile, the doctors are confident that Seb should pull through but they’re concerned about his white blood cell count which is too low. Abi breaks the news to Seb that he could be HIV positive.

Chesney and a subdued Joseph arrive back from Portugal. They’re taken aback to see that Sinead’s planned a welcome home party and Joseph dashes upstairs, upset. Realising her mistake, Sinead feels terrible.

Elsewhere, Sally’s campaign has a sting in the tail; Michelle visits Robert in prison; and Fiz is annoyed with Tyrone for spending Hope’s money on a van for their scrap business.

Coronation Street, Monday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV, UTV and STV.


SoapWeek: EastEnders

As the Carter family get The Vic ready for Halloween, Tina fetches alcohol from the cash and carry but finds herself in a dangerous situation when a knife is pulled on her…

Abi’s situation worsens when she loses her job at the Vic. Meanwhile, with it being the day of their planned wedding, Lauren decides to get rid of Steven’s belongings. As Lauren goes to check in on Abi, she is stunned to find her wearing her wedding dress …

Elsewhere, Bex convinces a reluctant Louise to go on a night out with her but when Bernadette hears of their plans, they realise they can’t not invite her.

EastEnders, Monday at 8pm on BBC One. Repeated at 10pm on UKTV channel ‘W’.


SoapWeek: Emmerdale

Robert manipulates Lawrence but Lachlan interrupts as they’re about to kiss. Lawrence demands Lachlan leaves the house, leaving Robert gloating.

Debbie is hit on by one of Tom’s sleazy clients and ends up punching him. She’s surprised when Tom’s protective over her and the man’s escorted out. Later she’s unable to resist Tom.

Elsewhere, Frank has an idea to help Jai get involved with his daughter; Pete encounters Gabby at the graveyard who then runs away; Lydia talks Rebecca into having a Halloween baby shower at Home Farm.

Emmerdale, Monday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

Jack is on a jealous rampage following Johnno’s return and questions whether Frankie still has feelings for her ex. He wants her to join the family at the school prize giving but when Johnno turns up at the house, Frankie is faced with a big decision.

Hunter locates Neeta at Hollyoaks High and the two share one last passionate kiss. However, Neeta is spotted by a furious Mac who drags her into the boiler room. As he lands a blow on the boiler, he unknowingly loosens a valve. As Mac sets fire to a drawing of Neeta and Hunter, an earth-shattering explosion occurs.

Elsewhere, Yasmine resolves to reveal all about the self-harming to Sally whilst Darren catches Luke about to have a drink when the explosion happens.

Hollyoaks, Monday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.


Doctors Pick of the Plots logo

Jimmi and DI Tom Stanton attend the scene of a stabbing, but there is no victim. Noting the similarity in weapon, they make the connection to Reece’s murder. Jimmi advises that the victim could still be alive, if he applied pressure to the wound and got to hospital.

A bloody fingerprint leads them to their victim; Craig Benz who is currently in St Phil’s. Tom tries to convince Craig to testify. However Craig won’t; if he talks the gang will kill him and his family. Later, Jimmi is worried about Zara.

Meanwhile, Ruhma treats Lily (15) who is 32 weeks pregnant unbeknownst to her father. Lily’s boyfriend arrives; Reece’s brother Austin. He confesses his mum doesn’t know about the baby either. Ruhma drafts Zara in to examine Lily, worried about the baby’s size. Zara makes a precautionary referral to the ante-natal unit. Later, Zara and Ruhma agree that social services need to be informed.

Doctors, Monday at 1.45pm on BBC One.
