Todd calls on Peter and begs him to keep quiet about Billy for Summer’s sake. Peter accuses Todd of emotional blackmail and orders him to leave.
Aidan reluctantly decides to pursue his last available option to save the factory and the jobs. Aidan waits alone in a bar as Carla Connor walks in. Later, Aidan isn’t happy to spy Eva heading for a night on the town with Adam.
Elsewhere, Steve is amused when Tracy gets out a hip flask at the carol concert to help them get through Amy’s church carol concert. Later, a drunken Tracy pounces on Steve and drags him back to no.1.

Kush delivers Donna’s actual present from Secret Santa, explaining that there was a mix up and Donna feels guilty for misjudging Robbie.
Meanwhile, Karen berates Bernadette for splashing out on a Christmas stocking for Riley and Chatham. After some home truths from Bernadette, Karen stumbles across some unwanted Christmas decorations and hatches a plan.

Robert tries to give Seb’s gifts to Lawrence, but he gets a hostile reaction.
After being rejected by Aaron too, Robert stumbles out with a bottle of whisky. Walking along a country road, is Robert in danger?

Damon and Brody are hosting a Christmas fancy dress party at The Dog and Damon is hoping to get closer to Holly. Meanwhile, Cleo is desperate to make up with Brody after using him to make Lisa jealous but he gives her short-shrift.
Cleo meets Maggie at the city wall who tells her she has cancer. Cleo later realises who Maggie is and that Damon is unaware she is ill.
Elsewhere, as Courtney goes into labour, Jesse arrives at the hospital to tell her how he feels face to face.
