Elaine stews over George helping Cindy at The Albert. Just as things start to thaw between them and Elaine surprises George with a gift to commemorate his boxing career Junior storms in and reveals that George went to see his mother, Sabrina, on Christmas night.
George confesses that Sabrina kissed him but swears he rejected her. Elaine is devastated that he’s lied again and throws George out, who goes looking for Junior but finds Cindy, who offers a shoulder to cry on. Later, Elaine goes to find George but spots him hugging Cindy on The Albert balcony.
Meanwhile, Kat is still shocked by the explicit video on Alfie’s laptop, not realising that Tommy purchased it. She confides in Jean that she’s worried that Alfie’s turned to adult entertainment as things have been quiet in the bedroom department following his cancer treatment.
Later, Alfie cooks a romantic meal, but Kat arrives ready to seduce him. Taken aback, Alfie tries to slow things down, but Kat is hurt and storms out.
Elsewhere, Vicki is disturbed when Amy reveals the real reason that no one want to be friends with Joel – he shamed Avani for sleeping with him and now she’s getting abusive messages from their peers.
Also, Yolande is hurt when Patrick makes excuses to get out of giving her a massage. Wedding planner Kim is frustrated by some snags in her plans for Kat and Alfie’s big day.

Grace tells Clare they’re going to reopen The Loft together as a way to make money and get Tori back. Dillon struggles with withdrawals, John Paul questions if the wedding is what Jez really wants. Later Dillon sneaks into the market to steal Liberty’s cash pot.

Bree updates Justin and Leah that Theo’s complication is dealt with for now, but they need to keep an eye on him. Meanwhile Remi and Eden are sent home after Sonny’s scans come back and things are looking okay, but he needs rest. On their way out, Justin bumps heads with Remi again who stands his ground on behalf of Sonny – it was Sonny who saved Theo’s life.
Cash’s interview with Gage doesn’t get him far, and Gage makes it clear he knows Cash’s weak point – Eden. However, Cash’s interview with Lacey is more revealing – she seems to genuinely care about Theo, and although she walks back out the door with Gage, Cash feels he’s hit a nerve. Later when Cash returns to Sonny, he confirms his main attacker was ‘Spanner’, real name: ‘Edmund’. This might not be evidence to arrest Gage, but Cash considers it a step closer, and Cash arrests Spanner for assaulting Sonny.
As Cash takes Spanner away, Gage deflects about Lacey’s current whereabouts, which stirs curiosity in Cash. In fact, Lacey turns up at the hospital in search of Theo. She finds Sonny who explains Theo’s critical condition, and Sonny encourages her to make sure Gage pays for what he did to Theo. Word gets to Cash that Lacey was checking on Theo at the hospital, but his drive by the River Boy warehouse shows her back in Gage’s arms. Cash is thrown as to where her allegiance lies – until she shows up at the police station, asking if he can still give her protection.
Irene fawns over baby Archie, and Tane admits he’s travelling by the seat of his pants but smiles proudly – it feels right. Irene encourages him to keep showing up for Harper and he asks to stay overnight to help if Harper needs anything. But in the middle of the night, Harper turns him away coldly when he tries to help. The next day, Harper continues to push Tane away. After he’s given her some space, he runs into Irene and shares with her that he has to speak his mind – Harper needs to let him help.

Paul is upset over Terese’s ultimatum, while Terese is calm and pragma[c about her decision. Leo counsels Paul to choose Terese, which he does, apologising to Terese for his hesitation, and assuring her he has put Chelsea and Thomas in the past, much to Terese’s relief.
Paul then rescinds his offer of investing in the perfume business to Chelsea and tells her she can’t be in his life anymore. Chelsea is stunned, bringing up the fact Paul knew he wasn’t Thomas’ father before anyone else, but is coy with what she’ll do with the information. Chelsea talks one-on-one with Terese, warning her that Paul’s need to fill the void leb by David won’t go away soon, but Terese is solid in her trust of him. She suggests to Paul that he moves back into her house on Ramsay Street so they can build their new future together, and Paul gladly accepts.
Chelsea lets Cara and Remi know she’s contacted her kids, who have agreed to let her back into their lives, so she’s returning to the Gold Coast with Thomas that night. Remi and Cara mend fences, wishing Chelsea all the best, while Paul has an emotional goodbye with Thomas. He has his own full-circle moment as he steps into his new future on Ramsay Street with Terese.
A love triangle brews when Aaron goes on a croquet date with Rhett, but is surprisingly interrupted by Colton, who has come to Erinsborough to interview for the ac[ng General Manager role at Eirini Rising while Terese is on leave. Colton later admits to Aaron that he deliberately targeted the job in the hopes of seeing him again, thinking fondly of their [me on Hamilton Island and wanting to reconnect. Aaron feels the spark too, telling him that he’s ready to start da[ng again. A glowing message from Rhett amps up his predicament – can Aaron handle the pressure of having two gorgeous men chasing him?
