The Real Football Fan Show returns to Channel 4

Channel 4’s anarchic football series made by fans, for fans, returns this weekend and promises to be bigger and better than ever.

“We are coming back bigger and better with more fans’ opinions and new features. It is the only show on television where you get to hear the real voice of the fans about the game we love, football.” – Presenter Robbie Lyle

The Real Football Fan Show features the people who really matter – the die-hard fans who part with their hard-earned cash week in, week out to follow their beloved teams through the highs and lows of the Premiership season.

Presented by Robbie Lyle, the man who unleashed the phenomenon of football fan telly with his creation of Arsenal Fan TV, the show stays true to Robbie’s original conception and gives real fans the chance to have their say on national television.

And four matches into the Premiership season there will be plenty for fans to get their teeth into, and everything football-related will be up for debate.

Is it finally going to be Liverpool’s year? Can Unai Emery secure silverware for the Gunners? Are Watford going to ‘do a Leicester’ and surprise everyone? Will Jose Mourinho turn it around for Manchester United? Can Pep Guardiola bring the title back for City? Can Maurizio Sarri secure the Premiership for Chelsea in his first season in top-flight English football? And which teams will be caught up in the dog fight to avoid relegation?

The Real Football Fan Show will be passionate, feisty, irreverent and funny, but most of all, it will be the voice of the fans themselves, calling it how they see it.

The first episode of the five-week run starts at 12.05am on Saturday 15th September on Channel 4.

“I am so excited to be presenting The Real Football Fan Show for its second series on Channel 4.” – Robbie Lyle
