Big drama ahead for Hollyoaks
EyeSpy: Hollyoaks reveal there is massive drama in store for the residents in the village this autumn.
A new trailer showcases forthcoming highlights including the return of Sinead O’Connor.
Sinead, played by Stephanie Davis, makes her return to Hollyoaks village after four years – she was last seen reeling from the discovery that Ste had been having an affair with Harry. In the trailer, she jumps into Sami’s car revealing she’s “got a wedding to ruin”.
We’re also treated to a look at the big day of Ste (Kieron Richardson) and Harry (Parry Glaspool). A storm is brewing in the village as Ste and Harry prepare for their wedding under the threat of James and unaware a vengeful Sinead is back. Is it likely their day will go ahead without a hitch?
There is another return as Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) rolls into the village following being locked up for killing her daughter Nico in self-defence. She is back at home and professing to be a changed woman. Is it possible Sienna has turned over a new leaf? Also, after months of sneaking around Mandy (Sarah Jayne Dunn) and Darren’s (Ashley Taylor Dawson) affair is finally revealed as Darren’s wife Nancy (Jessica Fox) confronts Mandy while her husband Luke (Gary Lucy) confronts his so-called mate Darren.
The promo also offers an exclusive look at a special single strand episode focusing on Cleo’s (Janine Mulkerrin) ongoing battle with bulimia, to air on World Mental Health Day (Wednesday 10th October), a cameo from 1980s singer Rick Astley, Tony’s (Nick Pickard) return to the village and the McQueens taking over The Dog.
