Paul flies off the handle at Billy in the café, arguing that although he had underage sex, he gave full consent. Billy retorts that, at fourteen, he was too young to do so. Billy’s horrified to see that Kel has picked Joseph up from school and is later puzzled to see Paul in the Rovers playing happy families with Bernie, Kel, Gemma and Chesney.
However, when Bernie hands around old photos, it dawns on Paul how young he really was compared to adult Kel. When Billy finds Paul in a state, he tries to get him to see that he was groomed and abused, but Paul insists that he loved Kel. As Paul breaks down, Billy’s rocked by the depth of his denial.
Meanwhile, Gary offers Fiz a job at his furniture shop after hearing of her and Tyrone’s money woes. Fiz is flattered but regrets she has to stay at home to teach Hope. Later, Tyrone overhears Fiz on the phone, telling the caller that she needs and misses them. He demands to know who she’s talking to.
Elsewhere, Asha performs well at her school singing audition but freaks when the drama teacher hands out sleeveless garments for the dance trials. She confesses to Amy that she’s had a bad reaction to a cream she’s been using to lighten the colour of her skin. Amy gives her an ultimatum: stop using it or she’ll tell Dev.
Also, Imran points out the parallel to Rick going missing after dealings with Gary; Shona comes clean to David about Max; Izzy receives a call from Derek to say he’s returned to his wife.

Callum shares his concerns about Rainie with Stuart but his mind turns elsewhere when Whitney returns to collect the rest of her belongings. As the two have a heart-to-heart, Callum is taken aback when Whitney drops a bombshell.
Struggling to process the news, Callum gets drunk in The Vic but when Jay steps in to help, his plan backfires and Callum rushes over to the Mitchell’s where he confronts Ben and blames him for what happened.
Meanwhile, Ben meets with a friend, Tubbs, and asks him for help on his new money-making scheme.
Elsewhere, Rainie does her best to convince Stuart she’s recovered; Sharon is left fearing the worst.

Cleo makes Mitchell watch Anita’s show to cheer him up. Mitchell rushes out of The Dog and when Anita questions what it is that he wants, Mitchell pulls her in for a passionate kiss.
Meanwhile, Maxine is hiding in her flat, but when Minnie is feeling unwell, she ventures out to Price Slice to buy some medicine and encounters an angry village resident. Brody visits Damon in prison and tells him about Sienna and the baby. Despite Damon’s efforts to convince him to give Sienna another chance, he reiterates to her later that they’re over.
Elsewhere, Goldie and Joel want Breda to be happy for them, but she’s furious at Joel’s decision. Later, Breda visits a terrified Tony and tells him that people are getting in the way of her mission.

Al continues to thaw towards Ray. As talk turns to the upcoming wedding, even Al gets in on the act and insists on taking a role. Seizing on his change of heart Eve insists that Al give her a lift into town to look at some wedding dresses but not before she fires off a message to her WI friends letting them know she’s getting married.
Eve leaves her phone at home on charge and later returns to a barrage of messages, but what she reads is not a cause for celebration.
Meanwhile, Daniel and Zara take Joe out for dinner and Daniel is relieved when Zara takes the lead and tells Joe that daddy is in a relationship with someone new, Becky. It’s Zara’s turn to fumble and stutter slightly when Joe confesses that he’s already met Becky and she thinks she’s awesome.
