Pick of the Plots: Tuesday 5th November
The latest goings on in EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.
Tina urges Linda to confront Shelley but Linda plans another night out with the mums at E20 instead. Linda panics when she realises Shirley’s going to be there and begs Tina for help. Despite Tina’s efforts, Shirley arrives at the E20 and doesn’t hold back when she clocks Shelley but she isn’t prepared for Linda’s reaction.
Meanwhile, it’s Louise’s birthday. Mel continues to provoke Keanu about his secret and everyone is shocked when Mel reveals her present. Later at The Vic and fed up of Mel’s games, Sharon confronts her but is shocked to see how set on revenge Mel is.
Elsewhere, Lola desperately tries to make Jay see sense regarding Terry’s funeral; Tiffany comes up with an idea how she and Keegan can marry quickly – go to Scotland.
EastEnders, Tuesday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
Moira arrives at Butlers and tells Cain she wants to move back in and fight for everything they have. Cain tries to look away from Moira, but she takes his head in her hands, knowing he still loves her. They kiss and Cain doesn’t pull away. However, he soon snaps out of it and sends her on her way.
Meanwhile, Victoria interrupts Aaron and Wendy fighting and tries to talk some sense into Aaron. Later, Chas reveals she has received a message from Robert, leaving Aaron hopeful that all might not be lost.
Elsewhere, the Dingles turn their backs on Mandy and Vinny; Kim talks Graham through a company reshuffle, tacitly showing him that he’s no longer trusted.
Emmerdale, Tuesday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.
As everyone comprehends what they have just heard, Mercedes denies having any part in Harry’s death and that she was sleeping with Liam. She does, however, admit to the hit and run.
Sylver tells Mercedes that he would have helped her if she’d told him about it from the start. When she continues to protest that no affair took place, Sylver agrees to help her. However, Sylver’s resolve to help Mercedes falters when he bumps into Brooke who reveals that she had an abortion,
Meanwhile, Goldie watches as everyone blames Mercedes for killing Harry, but knows it was actually Breda. She confronts her mum, but Breda thinks that Mercedes deserves to take the blame. Jesse is angry at Liam for framing Harry but is shocked by the strength of his love for Mercedes. Liam talks about how he imagines shooting Mercedes…
Hollyoaks, Tuesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
Jimmi arrives at the police station following being mugged. He’s greeted by a concerned Rob whilst Emma tends to his wounds.
It’s odd being in the role of victim but Jimmi is adamant that he doesn’t need to go to hospital. He was caught off guard. It was just a mugging. Wasn’t it?
Elsewhere, Becky finishes her packing and leaves. Daniel wonders if he has done the right thing. Soon, Daniel grabs his keys and runs out of the house but who is he chasing?
